live at the jube - postponed til nov 20th
After much consultation with our team and with the venue we have come to the difficult decision to postpone my show, Live at the Jubilee.
The new date will be Nov 20th, 2021. Your original tickets are STILL VALID for this new date.
This has been a very difficult decision. It's sad to come so close to an incredible evening and then have to postpone it, again!
I want you to know that I care about your safety and I understand your feelings. Many people have reached out to me in the last few days saying you wouldn't feel safe coming to an indoor show in the current circumstances. And many of you have been telling me you couldn't wait for the show!
I was excited too, but I was sad that so many of you were going to miss it.
After careful consideration of all the options, we have decided that this is the best way forward, for everyone's health and safety and for giving you the best show possible.
Your support has been incredible, and I have been looking forward to playing this sold-out show for all 2500 of you for a LONG time. It would have felt wrong to only play for half the audience, with the other half unable to attend due to health concerns.
By delaying the show until November 20th, I hope that all of you can be there and feel great about it. By then this current wave should have subsided, the new health protocols will have taken effect, and we can have a beautiful evening of music together.
Thank you so much for your understanding. None of us asked for this situation, and I wish things were simpler for all of us.
Just 2 more months! I can't wait to see you. Grateful for your love and support,

Wondering how a street-concert works? Read these FAQ's.
Q. Who is this guy playing all these street concerts?
A. Martin Kerr is a professional musician who has performed at Rogers Place with Sarah McLachlan, The Winspear Centre 3 times, toured the world and has had an album in the Canadian Top 10. Due to COVID-19 Martin had his entire summer tour cancelled - so instead he's bringing music to neighbourhoods across the city, one block at a time!
Q. Is there a cost?
A. Yes. We ask for a starting donation (usually $500 but variable) to confirm a booking, plus tips from the neighbours on the day. The initial donation can vary based on location, layout of the street, and expected community engagement. In normal times to book Martin for any event costs a minimum of $1000, so you're getting a great deal!
Q. What does Martin need from me on the day of the show?
A. One extension cord running to the end of your driveway/front yard, 15 mins before the show. We will provide everything else.
Q. Do you have a flyer that I can give to my neighbours to tell them about the concert?
A. We sure do! We can provide an e-flyer and/or printed postcards. Please inform everyone on your block.
Q: How long is the show?
A: Roughly 45 mins. This is one full set. It seems to be a comfortable time for everyone to enjoy while being outside.
Q. Can I invite my friends and family from nearby streets to watch the concert?
A. We don't encourage this. The concert is intended for you to enjoy from your own home. If you choose to invite guests to your property, we ask that you please follow the social distancing guidelines provided by Alberta Health.
Q. We don’t want to ask the neighbours to tip, but would Martin come and perform for our anniversary/birthday/grad?
A. Yes! This will be considered a private booking so different rates apply. Contact us directly to agree a fee that works.
Q: How loud is the concert?
A: Loud enough for everyone on your block to enjoy it, but not loud enough for anyone else to be bothered by it. We have played hundreds of these already and not had any noise complaints.
Q. Will Martin perform for a graduation celebration?
A. Absolutely! Send us a message.
